We are going to set up at the Crosslake flea bag market on Saturday and try to clear out some hostas before winter. Other than that I think we will probably go for a bike ride on the Paul Bunyan Trail and also try a few new recipes.
What are your plans?

I am going to a Fantasy Football BBQ in St. Louis. My wife is staying home to go to some garage sales. She will be flying some flags. We just got our Don't Tread On Me flag and can hardly wait to see it fly it along with the U.S. flag. Have fun everyone and be safe. The weather looks great around here---nice and cool and low humidity.

One more thing, cubbieblue. It looks like I will be on this blog talking to myself. It is such a shame that more don't join in. I really miss mndapa1's posts. He has a lot of clout and really posts wonderful material. Oh well, I will do what I can to hold down the fort. Maybe things will pick up. Again, have a safe trip.

colonel you're not alone, I lurk in the shadows every once and a while, but I do have a summer class that just ended, full time job, and I got a dog! So I've been spending time away from the virtual world and living in the real world. More time for family, friends, and fun. My weekend will consist of those as well but maybe go out in the boat, buy a sixer and a stogie, only to sit on a island and fish the day away . . . bliss. I'll watch the sunset only to be reminded my life has great purpose.

Hey, peaceful,
It is really nice to have you back. Glad you got a dog. What type is it and what is it's name? Have you had time for any star gazing this summer? Here I have two wonderful scopes and they are collecting dust. Worse yet I bought a fishing license and still haven't been out. That is certainly sad. Oh well I have spent most of my time planting and tending to hostas. I think we have over 70 varieties now. At least it gets me outdoors.
What is your major? I hope it is going well and you are enjoying classes. I think my happiest days were those halcyon college days. Can I turn back the clock?
Take care and come back often. You might not agree with everything here but that doesn't really matter.
Buck
