Got nailed on the knuckle by a hornet yesterday and right hand so swollen I can't use it. Typed this left handed - peck method.

I keep getting an email about how putting a penney on your sting and then some tape to keep it in place will make it recover quickly. Maybe you could experiment with this and see if it works!!!! Good luck. Those things HURT.

Back in the saddle again. The hand and arm are still swollen but are easing. I have use of all five digits in my right hand and my temp is below 100. What I appreciate most is that I was able to choose my doc and when I got into the exam room there was no bureaucrat between us and nobody from the govt. dictating treatment options. With each bee or hornet sting episode the results are worse so from this point hence I will be armed with an EpiPen. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6dx8AfTmQk

Understand your pain though buck,,,craziest thing happened to me earlier this year also. I got out of bed and my second step was on a black wasp (how or what he was doing in the house is beyond me),,,, my leg buckled as I screamed out,,I thought it was a piece of glass. My wife came running,,she pulled the stinger,,but my leg was sore for a few days. It felt like the venom went clear to my knee or whatever they have in them.
