Just another joke on us,,,, people need goods, services, necessities from others for long term jobs. If we are not buying, or consuming,, there is nothing to manufacture. Sadly,, one area that you can readily get a job,,people don't want to work in. That is the medical field,,whether it is nursing or doctors. And now with Obambi sticking his hand into that,, it'll only get worse. What is the actual amount of money from the 'stimulous package' that has been spent ? I have heard only 3%,,if thats true,,where the hell is the rest of it ?

If you want a job, go to Peoria. A friend is district manager for a store chain. She hired a manager for the Peoria store for $35,000/yr. and good health benefits. My friend was going to spend time getting the new manager started on the job. The new employee didn't show up. My friend called the new employee and was told that it was more profitable to stay at home and collect unemployment and government benefits. I would think this job opportunity with the on-the-job training would be a Godsend to someone who needed the work. I have seen worse jobs that paid much less. This sounded like a good job to me.
Look what our government has done with its wonderful freebie system! My father always talked to me about what I thought of myself was really important and all I can say is that I would feel like an inferior being if I did not take care of myself when I had the opportunity. No one owes me a thing. I would feel so wonderful for not mooching off of society.

Well when we owned our own companies...we couldnt find people to work. Everyone wanted more than they were worth. My wife ended up hiring our daughter for one position part time and doing most of the rest herself.
I also have a hard time finding people that are willing to work. And I pay well, but the work is hardwork, and people dont want to do hard work. Our son works for us part time and does alot of the work...and at $20/hr...he doesnt complain a bit.
The problem with todays society is they are a bunch of gimmes and want to bes. Never worked for anything but want it all. I wasnt raised that way, and I have earned everything I have ever gotten...with no help from the guberment. Nor will I take handouts or anything from them.

Every time I had to hire help it was the same disaster... me being Mr. personality, and all, it sometimes was, well, in lieu of a less tasteful bit of verbiage, let's just say it was rough.
By the time it was done, I would look at the unemployment rate, and be amazed it wasn't double. Good grief, I might have a flashback, and go screaming into the darkness to be never seen again, let's not dwell on hiring help.

I know the feeling. We cant even find someone to mow the lawn or rake leaves. People just do not want to work anymore.
Think they should blame that on Bush too? Hardly think so.
