Most people with little knowledge of politics will not even follow the elections next year. Hopefully the good will be,, all across America we can re-gain the Senate and Congress. Can you imagine what bambi's poll numbers will be like by ,,say,,December ? Did anyone else see the unemployment number in the Brainerd area ? A staggering 15%,,and really no signs of any change. My guess is,,this winter we will be up another 2-3% and nationally it will near 12-13%. People will be forgetting blaming Bush soon.

My husband partially blames Bush for going along with Congress on too many things. As much as I liked Bush and thought he was an honorable person, he sure did not fight the liberal Republicans and the Democrats in congress. Bush was not conservative enough. B. O. is just speeding up our failures faster as that is where he wants us. I was against the stimulus that Bush gave and also the ones B.O. has given. This country would have been much better if someone like Reagan had been president. I think there will be a lot of people out of work or getting a fraction of what their salary should have been.
My cousin in Oregon told me that they have fewer Mexicans now as there isn't work for them like there was before. Maybe the college students who graduate and can't find jobs in their fields are now hogging all the bean and cherry picking jobs.
I wish we could force Pelosi, Reid, B.O. and all his dishonest coherts into living in our shoes for a few weeks and see if they still think they have all the answers for bringing the country back to prosperity. I am convinced they do not care at all as long as THEY get to live lavishly with no worries about financial survival.

I wish people were as fired up about our country's survival as we are. I would think the polls would show more disgust for B.O. and Congress.
Last night I watched a program on Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Push. Some lady (I have seen her a lot on TV) who is a college president was giving a speech to poor blacks. It scared the tar out of me. She was encouraging people to protest in groups because they deserve more than they GET. I never heard her say a thing about working harder or getting jobs or staying is school or having kids when they are married and can afford them. She told the people they have a chance now that a black man is in the white house. It was the most disgusting, scariest thing I have seen on TV and it will surely sway the numbers in the polls. The GIMMY group is wanting more than YOU are giving.
If you ever get the chance, watch some of that stuff when Rainbow/Push or Jesse Jackson are having a program on one of the religious stations. I can't believe the junk they are getting people to do. I am rather tired of protests, especially when people like Jesse Jackson puts them up to it.

Here is another poll--- one from the Rasmussen report. Who do you think benefited from the Bailout ? More bonuses anyone? I don't know a soul who is doing better than last year. Bail out money is not for everyone. "80% Say Wall Street, Not Taxpayers, Benefited More From Bailout - As Goldman Sachs Announces Record Profit" at www.rasmussenreports.com. This is the link to the page: www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/business/federal_bailout/july_2009/80_say_wall_street_not_taxpayers_benefited_more_from_bailout_as_goldman_sachs_announces_record_profit Eighty percent (80%) of Americans now say Wall Street benefited more from the bailout of the financial industry than the average U.S. taxpayer. Only eight percent (8%) of adults say the taxpayer benefited more, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Twelve percent (12%) are not sure. This marks a notable increase in skepticism from October when 63% saw Wall Street as the chief beneficiary as the first bailout of the financial industry was working its way through Congress. In February when the Obama administration announced another bank bailout plan, 67% said Wall Street would benefit more than taxpayers . Goldman Sachs, one of the Wall Street recipients of a bailout, repaid that money in June. The firm, which also has benefited from cheap government financing, is now reporting a record profit for the last quarter and has announced plans for billions in employee bonuses. Forty-one percent (41%) say Goldman Sachs' record profit makes them less supportive of the federal bailout of the financial industry while only 16% say it makes them more supportive.

Some Blacks Now Have Doubts About Obama townhall.com/content/b9006d8b-36b1-45c0-8fd0-e2b0e37a78a6An article by Star Parker: Obama's approval is down 10% from last April. Even the blacks who voted for him are having "buyers' remorse". Blacks dropped from 95 % to 92% approval and that means a drop of a half million of the 16 million who voted for Obama. (that is a good start)

Opposition to Health Care Reform Reaches New High at 55% www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/healthcare/september_2009/health_care_reformThere is a list of week by week statistics on the approval or disapproval of the Healthcare reform. I always wondered who got polled, how many people were in each poll, where the area is that got polled, how many Democrats, Republicans, Independents, etc. You know what I mean. I do not find Obama charismatic enough to change my opinions one bit after he gives a speech. His favorable numbers go up after one of his speeches and I do not understand why. That is why he gives so many speeches.
