I change my mind constantly but the Wizard of Oz is always on my list. I really enjoyed Ed Wood even though the public didn't and of course Caddyshack always makes my list. I also really liked An Officer and a Gentleman. For military movies Full Metal Jacket tops my list. There are too many good ones to have a definitive list but it is fun to think about this.
What do the rest of you like?

Westerns are usually the top of my favs. Though I don't care for Kevin Costners political beliefs,,,"Dances with Wolves" will always be at the top of my list. Another fav in the western are both "Young Guns" I & II. Though I am not into the 'sappy' movies,,,I loved "8 Below". A few others that I felt had superb acting and story were "Shawshank Redemption",,"Sling Blade",, "The Green Mile".

My husband watches The Lone Ranger and Gene Autry in the afternoons as it reminds him of how the old westerns had the GOOD win over the BAD. Westerns are tops!

Everybody post away here. Let's here from the rest of you who have not posted. I will be starting a thread on another form of entertainment tomorrow. Let's go, chop-chop.
Hasset, does your husband enjoy "Shane"? I still pull that movie out once and awhile and still love it. I also really enjoyed "Silverado", we have been talking about trying to run it down.

My husband hasn't seen Shane in so long that he doesn't remember much about it. We are big "stay at homes" and Hollywood would not exist if everyone went to the movies as rarely as we do. We are big readers and I will be starting up a section on BOOKS soon.
I did see that Gilbert Grape was on again last night and I watched most of it (7th time). There is another program, not a movie but a reality program, that I have watched 7 times because I think it is so funny. It is called "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance". Has anyone seen that?
