Start eating those fish and get smart while becoming healthier. Once again the govt.'s scare tactics and warnings were bogus. I know that here in Minnesota we have had warnings for years on how often we can eat fish from our waters due to mercury. That has been debunked. Read for yourself. canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/12256

I try to eat fish once a week,,and sometimes,,well,,just,,ummm,,I really screwed up !! Fathers Day was great,,son and daughter-in-law ,and grandson came over,,we hung out in the garage due to the rainy weather,,but not to be dampened,,we grilled steaks over a good charcoal fire. About 6:00 they went home and as I still had some nice hot coals,,I decided to grill some fish for lunch for the next couple days,,I prepared everything,,wrapped in tinfoil,,placed on grill,,went in the house,,,sat down in easy chair,,and,,,,,,, FELL ASLEEP !!! Needless to say,,my nice 3/4 inch salmon filets were no more than 1/8 in. thick when I got to them and about 1/3 their original diameter. Dang,,I hate that !!

If fish really does make a person smarter, I think I would gag down some once in awhile. I only like the expensive stuff from the ocean---shrimp, lobster, crab, etc. I do like smoked dried herring if it is really dry. That tastes good with a nice green apple or at least a tart apple.
My hometown had a man made lake that was stagnant and stunk just awful. I used to catch fish there and my grandmother would cook it. I think that is what caused me to hate fish.
I spent a summer in Norway and I ate fish every day because it was all I could afford. It was different there---so clean and fresh. It was breaded and fried. The restaurants would give you a big bowl of cream and pickles to put on it. Even their fish soup was delicious. The soup was made out of powdered fish and you could buy it in little packets. I brought a suit case full of it home with me but when it was gone, IT WAS GONE FOREVER. Have any of you ever seen any powdered fish soup for sale in this country?

I presume you are talking about Lake Latrine, hasset. If that is the case you are lucky to have survived.
Nobama, at least you didn't fall asleep while smoking a stogie and start a fire in your recliner.
