Admin, maybe this should have been posted in "Christianity and the call to action". If you feel that is appropriate, feel free to move it. Thanks.

Mission accomplished. I may not be Catholic but I sure support the message these concerned people are trying to send. I just hope they get the job done.

I think it is ok here. I put it on the Catholic news feed today and a few of the prominent blogs. I am not a catholic either, but it is time for them to start standing on principle and stop making excuses.

Here is an update for you. It is clear that the Pope and Father Jenkins were asleep at the wheel on this issue. It is costing Notre Dame dearly and possibly putting another crack in the foundation of their church. Obambi should never have been allowed to speak at Notre Dame if they really believed in the stated principles of the Roman Catholic Church. Please read this. There is a rather large backlash occurring. www.replacejenkins.com/references.html

The problem is...like all other major religious unstitutions of hihger learning, they are trying to do away with their heritage. Most IVY LEAGUE schools were founded and heralded as institutions of Christian Higher Learning. They are trying to follow in their footsteps. What a shame.
I support those who want to keep their almamatter the way it was intended. Jenkins needs to go and the POPE needs to make a statement and condemn the University for going outside the Church's teaching.
