I didn't know where to post this,,nothing political,,just on the lighter side. I have a weakness eating habit,,wonder what everyone else's is ? Actually,, I have been out of high school now for 36 years (wow,,that hurts) and I weigh 21 pounds more than when I graduated. Which I'm not sure if thats good or bad,,but I'm not obese by any means. HOWEVER,, I have one snack food that will probably be the death of me. I LOVE salt&vinegar potato chips,,,crunching another one,,LOL. Other than that,I eat a fairly balanced diet. And what I call my lifeline,, every morning starts with 16 ozs. of V-8. Sorry,,just rambling here,,needed a break.

Hey, nomobama,
Have you ever had Bob's Texas style potato chips? They are fabulous and I agree, I am partial to the salt & vinegar ones. I used to have them shipped in. A bunch of us would go together to spread the cost around of a full case. It was worth it. I might just have to do that again. Thanks for reminding me.

I don't need anymore bad habits but I think I will have to try those potato chips. My weakness is candy, licorice especially. I like the kind from Europe that is made from the licorice root. So many of the American kinds are made with molasses. If I have a bag of candy, I will eat it all in one sitting. My favorite food groups are sugar, fat and salt. Yum!

I got addicted to salt & vinegar chips when I lived in Canada. I'm actually having some with my lunch today! Yummmmm
My downfall is bread and rolls. I had the best bread at Texas Roadhouse a couple of weeks ago. Has anyone been to a Texas Roadhouse restaurant? They have the best food. Their bbq ribs fall right off the bones. They are the best I've ever had. If you ever go to one, make sure you have a big appetite. You get a lot of food for your money.

I hope all of you chip lovers are very old because I am positive that 15-25 years after the fedzilla controls health care salty chips will be outlawed in a misguided attempt to control health care costs.Sorry for bringing politics into the discussion but my vice is tobacco and the "health czar of New York "just said he is going all out to fight outdoor smoking. This is one of those times when I wish I knew how to post a link, but I'm sure you all can find what I'm talking about if your interested.

And yes; I know there's no second hand salt but I think the morality of one American making decisions for a fellow "free person" is the same.

I go nuts when I hear someone say that smoking causes a large per cent of cancer and other ailments. How does anyone know? What about eating habits, inheritance and life style? I say Moderation in anything and you are fine. If the government gets into life styles, what will they do with all the over weight people (600 lbs. and up) on that TV program called "Big Medicine"? America is getting bigger all the time and you can't lock them up. Most people die from heart disease, cancer and ailments that could be caused by a lot of different things including inheritance. I think it is far more life threatening to talk on the phone while driving, to drink and drive, to drive too fast or to drive while being tired. Life is a big risk!
It sure won't help any if you have to be worried that someone will report you to the feds for eating the wrong food or for having a smoke in your own home. I heard on the news today that there is a $250 fine for smoking in a rented car. I wonder if all the Congressmen are going to follow all these rules. I wonder if Barney Frank knows the risks he is taking in his business.
