The pileated woodpeckers, blue jays, chicadees and both nuthatches are active, as well as the downy and hairy woodpeckers. Best of all the common redpolls and gold finches are thick.

I sat in my rocking chair watching the chicadees pick at seeds out in the play yard as I rocked Deg and nursed him. I could faintly hear them singing their Spring songs! I am so excited that Spring is just around the bend!

Saw the blue jays out today. Looks like they are anxious for spring to get here.
Had squirrels in my other feeders. Not too happy with that little ordeal.

Saw nesting eagles staring to go into their ritual of preparing for mating today. They are truly majestic birds . I went out and nought a new digital cannon digital SLR so I can get better pics and hope to post them soon along with a short video I grabbed Monday afternoon.
