Clunk, clunk, clunking along with more govy insanity spending!!!!!!!! How would you like the Cash for Clunker program for appliances? "Most Democrats (56%) like the idea, while even more Republicans (76%) don't. Unaffiliateds are closely divided." rasmussenreports.getmobile.com/site?t=f4122jbQMVR6z3maLGBpug&sid=rassenreports-feblzqluI know this plan is an effort to save energy but what about the environment and the land fill? We always had to pay to have our old appliances hauled away to the dump. I always wished the metal could be recycled. I see people dump their old refrigerators and stoves along the road because they didn't want to pay the $20 -$50 to have it hauled away. I do think there ought to be a way that it didn't cost anything to have an old appliance hauled away and that someone would recycle the metal. It is like what happened to old tires. You have to pay to have them taken away and when people don't want to pay, they throw them along the road in the ditch somewhere. I hate behavior like that. I know that the same people who love all these programs are the ones who clutter up the land. Look at what Wash. D.C. looked like after the Obama coronation. That place looked like a land fill and the whole area had to be resodded after being cleaned up. And people say that they are interested in the environment! That is a joke.
