Are any of you seeing bears this summer? We had four around here two summers ago but none since then. I suspect it is because a large area down the road was logged out. That is not a bad thing though. The quaking aspen, birch and pin cherries pop up quickly and provide a safe haven for the grouse as well as important jobs. Sorry Mr. Gore but jobs are important too. Actually the bears absolutely trashed our bird feeders that summer. I found it amusing.
What are the rest of you seeing and hearing, any wolves or coyotes? How about the barred or great horned owls?
