We are having some lightly grilled fresh tuna steaks and a spinach, strawberry, blue cheese and pecan salad.
Not sure about the rest of the weekend. Any ideas? I would prefer to eat at home and not go out.

That is an unusual salad and it sounds good. Blue cheese is my favorite. Do you ever get Maytag Blue cheese from Newton, Iowa? It is the best. It is expensive but we make a run to Newton in November so we can buy up a ton of it for gifts and for ourselves. It is half price there and worth the trip.
I like to eat simple things in the summer time. Tonight we had tomato/cheese soup and Irish soda bread. It was good. BLTs are good. What about eating more of that salad and having a small steak?

You men must be wonderful cooks, or should I say Chefs. That sounds fancier. I am going to try that salad. Have you noticed that Vidalia onions are being sold year round now? They used to show up in the stores for a few months only. I love onion rings if I can find big enough onions. I wish eating were not so much fun!!!

Eating is supposed to be enjoyable as well as nourishing. I enjoy preparing food. Salads have always been my favorite. If you are lucky mndapa1 will share his salad recipes. He posted three once on our old forum. I tried 2 and they were fantastic. If I can go back and find them I will post them here. I guess we have a lot of people here who enjoy tasty food.
