"It is a paradox that every dictator has climbed to power on the ladder of free speech. Immediately on attaining power, each dictator has suppressed all free speech except his own."
What's everyone think ?

My fear is that Hussein is following this axiom. It is clear that he is doing everything possible to consolidate his power to rule like a dictator whether it be the press, banking, the auto industry or impugning the credibility of the loyal opposition. How sad to see this happening here.

I hope you all saw the Fox news report this morning. Someone was going through all the ex presidents and saying how almost all of them thought the press should be free to report things, even if it is against the present president. BHO is the first one to be so COMPLETELY against free speech on the news programs.
My opinion: It is more than being thin skinned but is more that he has so much self importance that he really thinks he is the Imperial High Commander of the universe. I think he thinks he is GOD himself. It is all over for the USA if we have to have journalists (ABC) in the White House who can only praise the Imperial High Commander. All others are excluded. Is that what is taught in journalism school? or in America? Where are the people complaining? Even if you liked B.O.'s ideas and plans for us, you should be upset about the lack of free speach and fairness. It will eventually backfire on everyone no matter what your politics.
