The Iowa Supreme Court today has legalized gay marriage. It seems to me that gay marriage is not only not normal but immoral. This ruling can do nothing other than to promote deviant life styles in my opinion. How do the rest of you feel about this? news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090403/ap_on_re_us/iowa_gay_marriage

I agree with you. Any moral fiber this great country has ever had is heading down the porcelain crapper at a rapid rate and the new administration, being basically anti-American, will hasten our demise. Very sad.

I also agree with you. It is a sad day in America. Unfortunately, we will see more like it.

I must be confused. I always thought that marriage was supposed to be entered in to by one man and one woman. I guess I stand corrected, as per the Iowa Supreme Court.

You are correct Col. The ia supreme court overturned the will of the people. Judicial activism in its purist form whne the Courst think they are not of the people anymore...but over them.

Heterosextuals just want to live together and gays want marriage. What a world we live in! What is wrong with Iowa? I never have met a single person who wanted gay marriage, yet it is now legal here. I have to admit I run with a conservative crowd.

This is not the will of the people. In November, Iowa passed the DOMA (Defense of Marriage Amendment) to their Constitution, and a select few along with the courts struck down the will of the people.
I agree that cohabitation is not in the best interests of anyone. Statistics clearly show that those who live together before marriage, are most likely to end in divorce.
Listen to the Dr. Laura Show or Dr . Drew, the hapless lack of moral fiber in this country just astounds me.
Although, I see a trend, I am betting the Prop 8 upholding in Californis will set a course for those like myself that want to DOMA to become the law of the land and protect an institution created by the Creator.
