I haven't been so lucky yet. I checked in twice today and mama was covering the nest. It looked like it was windy there. Her feathers were blowing about. What magnificent creatures and what a wonderful symbol. Too bad some people don't believe in upholding the beauty and strength of our American symbol.

The chick is growing up. You might want to scroll down below the live video of the chick. They have done a nice job of giving updates on nest activity over the last several months.
I assume you have all been seeing the eagles in our lakes country. They are thick this year.
Happy birding!

The farmer across the road from me used to raise hogs. When he cleaned his barn, he had a lot of manure and baby pigs that died and he would spread it over his field for fertilizer. It would bring in a lot of eagles. We had eagles all over the place. The farmer quit raising pigs when corn prices went up and the eagles don't come by there much anymore. They are so big and beautiful.
